Group Name: Backpacking into God’s Creation

Schedule: The plan, to start, is to do 1 nighters, on a weekend (hike in, camp, hike out) - one in the Spring and one in the Fall. An example of a typical trip, one we have done in the past, is hiking into a campsite on the Chattooga River, on the Foothills Trail. This outing included the opportunity to have 4-5 hours of trout fishing and/or leisure time around camp. To organize and get to know one another, we may start with a day hike. Description of Group: This is a great small group for both people who are new to backpacking or are seasoned backpackers who just want to hang around other hikers. Just come and hang out with people who love Jesus, the outdoors, and exploring God’s creation
