It highlights the importance of what it means to get up after you stumble, face an uncertain future, be tempted to run ahead of God, struggled to see how He could possibly keep His promises, and be forced to wait, especially when you are in a hurry.
Abraham is a story that is insightful and compelling, courageous and authentic, profound and inspiring because he learns the hard way. He learns what it means to trust God entirely. It is a story for today.
