Discipleship

LAST WEEK TO REGISTER FOR THE LEARNING TO REST IN GOD SEMINAR

Living with demanding schedules, addiction to smart phones, and daily deadlines, can leave you exhausted and unconsciously committed to schedules over significance and busyness over holiness. Join us as we discuss the Sabbath and how to intentionally engage in God’s invitation to rest, reflect, and quietly interact with Him to refresh and reenergize your soul. Don’t miss this “Learning to Rest in God” seminar, hosted by the Flourish Institute of Theology, held on May 3-4 at FPC. The cost is $60. Register now by clicking here.

Opportunities To Serve

OPPORTUNITIES FOR DAY MISSIONS

Join us as a chaperone to students as they serve the needs of our city this summer! We would also love your prayers for those serving and being served this week. You can also help by donating “necessity items”: paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, deodorant, dish detergent, etc. “Homeless kit” items needed are: hotel size toiletries, chap stick, and reading glasses. Bring items to the Children’s Ministry check-in area. Click here to register and to see the full list of items needed. Questions? Contact Karen King, kking@firstpresgreenville.org.

SERVE OUR COMMUNITY AT VBS JUNE 10-13

We currently have 62 children on our VBS waiting list. Can you believe that 31 of those children do not have a church home? What a praise it would be if we had enough volunteers so that everyone on the waiting list could hear the Gospel! Even if you can only serve 1-2 days, that would be helpful. To sign up, click here. Contact Tina Jones at tjones@firstpresgreenville.org for more information.

PRODUCTION VOLUNTEERS

Sign up to serve in creating an exciting production experience for our guests. No experience is required. Training will be provided by our Event Operations Coordinator. Further details will be sent regarding scheduling and training. If interested, please email productions@firstpresgreenville.org.
